The process of aligning your smile with Invisalign starts with a computerized treatment plan. First, 3D digital images of your teeth are taken. These images allow us to view the jaw from different angles, move your teeth on the screen, and predict the results of the treatment before we even begin.
Once the treatment planning is done, a custom set of aligners is made. The total number of aligners and time of treatment varies from patient to patient. The aligners should always be worn, except when eating and drinking, brushing, and flossing. Generally, patients are instructed to change to the next aligner in the series every 7-14 days.
